DESCRIPTION
A tumbler that narrows at the waist and flares to the rim. The motifs were water-carved: painted in wax, then the clay around them was sponged away, leaving the petals and dots in slight relief. Speckled cream glaze, with the raised shapes in charcoal and a blue-grey band at the lip and foot.
